Why I’m Running
Under majority control, the Democrats on the Avon Board of Education have delivered meaningful change. We ushered in stellar leadership and are fortunate to enjoy an excellent relationship with our superintendent and share her positive vision for the district. We have also delivered on our promises to return school social workers, prioritize transparency, and upgrade school security. We fought hard for student supports and athletics, as well as the arts, while delivering some of the lowest budgets in years.
Personally, I have strived to work in a strictly bipartisan manner. It has been important to me to remember we are tasked with representing the needs of the entire community. Community is everything in a small town like Avon. Being good neighbors, celebrating successes, and supporting each other during challenging times are the backbone of who we are. I feel so fortunate to have been able to raise my family here and look forward to giving back to the community that has given us so much!
